Our Berkshire and Berkshire cross hogs live outdoors year round, with fresh air and space to move and grow at a natural pace.

We are transforming a conventional farm operation into a pasture-based, regenerative farm to produce delicious, high-quality food for our community.

Natasha and Claire Wilson are sisters farming with their parents, Brian and Nancy Wilson, outside West Chester, Iowa, about 40 minutes south of Iowa City.
Brian and Nancy have farmed together on Nancy’s home place since 1982. They both grew up on Iowa farms and have spent the last 40+ years learning how to care for animals and land and produce great food. Natasha moved back to the farm in 2019; Claire returned in 2023.
We love combining our different skills to pursue our dream at West Fork Farmstead: building a regenerative, pasture-based farm to provide nourishing, high-quality food for our community and to care for our animals and land well.
We raise our animals outdoors to provide healthy environments with sunshine, fresh air, and freedom to move and roam.

We don't feed our cows grain and we don't use chemicals or synthetic fertilizers on our pastures or hay fields.

Our healthy hens lay beautiful brown eggs. You’ll notice the difference right away in the deep, yellow yolks and rich flavor.

Their white eggs have thick shells and huge, beautiful yolks. We love them for baking or frying up to top rice bowls, noodles, sandwiches, and burgers.

Just light straining, no filtering, and no high-heat processing. You’ll also love the pure, sweet flavor of raw honey!

Many customers love stocking their freezer with a 1/2 or whole hog. We also offer bulk beef (1/4s, 1/2s, and whole beef) and bulk options to save on whole chickens and honey. Buying in bulk can save up to 15–20% compared to individual retail cuts.

We are north of West Chester, between Kalona and Washington.
